The Opium Barcelona Dress Code
Opium Barcelona is a worldwide known leader in giving amazing nights to party people. To stay at the same level of awesomeness Opium is held to a high standard and the same counts for the people who want to attend, it’s one of the strictest clubs in Barcelona. The club has a capacity of 3000 party people but to enter the club you’ll need to put your fancy pants on as they only allow people who are dressed up!
Below I’ll give you some guidelines how to dress for both Men and Women. Enjoy!
The Opium Dress Code for Men:
As Opium is one of the biggest clubs in Barcelona for locals and tourists you’ll need to follow some instructions to get in without problems. Being a guy makes it a little more complicated but with these guidelines, you’ll be prepared to show your party skills in Opium! In high season, from June till August, the dress code is the strictest. On full nights they want more girls than guys in the club, so if you don’t look like they want, you won’t enter. Life is hard guys, but if you want a nice crowd with nice people you need to be prepared!
The Clothes:
As you’ll need to dress to impress if you want to enter Opium you’ll need to wear a dress shirt. Especially from Thursday until Saturday you’ll need to follow the guidelines if you want to pass the bouncers without problems. From Sunday until Wednesday the dress code is less strict but still, long trousers and T-shirts are a must, even if it’s hot outside! It’s impossible to enter with running shoes or gym wear. They want you to show how special you are and that means also in the way you are dressed. Show your uniqueness, dress up and have the night of your life!
The Shoes:
Shoes are very important and it’s something bouncers look at first. Don’t wear sports shoes, but wear dress shoes! Casual shoes are allowed from Sunday till Wednesday but if there are a lot of people it’s still something bouncers will pick on the most. A prepared man is worth two!
The Hair:
Hairstyles are also something bouncers are very picky about. If you like special or controversial hairstyles there is a chance you’ll get some problems to get in, depends on the night and the mood of the bouncer. The style of hair that has the sides shaven short with longer hair on the top is not allowed in the upscale clubs of Barcelona.
The Tattoos:
Normal, tasteful tattoos aren’t a problem. If you have neck or face tattoos, you won’t enter the place probably. It can help to cover your tattoos to enter the place.
The Company:
If you follow all the guidelines you probably won’t have any problems to get in. If you’re still doubting about something, take some girls with you to be sure. The chance to pass the bouncers with some girls at your side is way bigger!
The Opium Dress Code for Women:
Enjoy being a woman, especially to enter clubs. They want girls in clubs so it’s way easier for you to enter the place, even in the most selective clubs!
But, Opium stays a strict club so don’t forget to dress up. Most of the girls dress to impress so everybody will like it if you do the same. Here are some extra details for you!
The clothes:
Dress up, but if you’re on the verge of showing your intimate lady parts, there’s a chance you’ll get rejected!
The Shoes:
No big difference between the guidelines for men. You don’t need to wear high heels, but a stylish sneaker is a must!
The Hair:
With rasta and coloured hair, it will be difficult to get in, all the rest is fine!
The Tattoos:
Anything goes for tattoos, I’ve never seen a girl being rejected for having tattoos.
